RAMBAN, July 11: Dharamkund Police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested a drug peddler and recovered 120 grams cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Dharamkund during checking intercepted a pedestrian.
During checking, police team recovered 120 grams cannabis from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Parvez Ahmed, son of Jamal Din of Prathmulla Tehsil Gool District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 34/2022 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Dharamkund and investigation set into motion.
Police team headed by ASI Rehmatullah Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Dharamkund Inspector Sam Paul Gill, SDPO Gool Nihar Ranjan and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
