JAMMU, Apr 5: Chinore Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Chinore led by PSI Amit Roshan under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Mahesh Sharma and SDPO Domana Sunil Singh laid a naka at Thathar Bantalab area and apprehended a drug peddler along with 105 grams of cannabis.
The arrested person was identified as Piyar Singh, son of Prabhat Singh, a resident of Upper Thathar District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 119/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
