DODA, July 11: Bhaderwah police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 3 kilograms of bhukki from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station laid a naka at Domail and intercepted a pedestrian.
During checking, police recovered 3 kilograms of bhukki from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Waseem Akram, son of Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Chabutra Chowk, District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 109/18 under Section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SI Zaheer Iqbal made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Hussain, SDPO Bhaderwah Tussif Ahmed, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
