KISHTWAR, Apr 6: Hidyal Police arrested a drug peddler along with banned psychotropic tablets.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Post Hidyal led by ASI Daleep Singh laid a naka under the supervision of SHO Kishtwar Inspector Abid Bukhari and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 72 banned psychotropic tablets and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Arbaz Ahmed, son of Fareed Ahmed, a resident of Hidyal District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 75/2022 under relevant Sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation taken up.
