SAMBA, Sept 5: Police arrested one person and recovered two syringes from his possession here, today.
Police said on the basis of reliable information, a team of District Special Branch (DSB) Samba conducted a raid on a particular spot near Ward No 9, Samba and found two youth taking drug through syringes. When they saw the police, one fled from the spot and another was arrested by the team of Special Branch. During his frisking police recovered two syringes from his possession and arrested him on spot. Later the accused was handed over to Samba Police.
He has been identified as Ujwal, son of Vishal Choudhary resident of Ward No 1 Samba.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
