UDHAMPUR, Mar 12: Police arrested a drug peddler from Tikri area and recovered five grams of heroin like substance from his posession.
A police team from Police Post Tikri, while conducting patrolling, apprehended a suspicious individual who attempted to flee upon seeing the police. On his frisking, the police team recovered five grams of heroin-like substance along with a poly pouch from his possession.
The accused was arrested on the spot. He was identified as Sandeep Kumar, son of Krishan Kumar, resident of Rehambal. In this regard, FIR No. 41/2025 has been registered under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Rehambal.
