JAMMU, Mar 7: A driver hits his car with police barricade during checking and escaped from the spot in Domana area here today.
As per police sources, information was received regarding suspicious movement of a Scorpio car and a check point was raised at Domana.
The car was intercepted at the check point in Domana. As soon as the cops started questioning the occupants of the car, the driver accelerated the vehicle and escaped from the spot along with his associates by hitting the police barricades. No one was injured in the incident.
It is presumed that some anti national or drug peddlers were in the car.
However, hunt has been launched to trace out the vehicle.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
