SAMBA, Nov 6: Police nabbed a driver and his associate along with 9 kilograms of charas.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Samba police station laid a naka and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK13B-5248.
During checking, police recovered 9 kilograms of charas from the vehicle and arrested the driver and his associate.
The accused have been identified as Adil, son of Abdul Gani and Parvez Ahmed, son of Abdul Rehman, both residents of Srinagar.
A case under FIR Number 175/16 under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Samba and investigation started.
