JAMMU, July 30: Bishnah police arrested a driver for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Bishnah police station laid a naka at Batyari road and intercepted a load carrier bearing registration number JK21C-6775.
During checking, police rescued two bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Mohammad Aslam, son of Irshad Ahmed of Mandal, District Samba.
A case under FIR Number 163/17 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
