LEH, May 2: A Dress designing course for women conducted by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI-RSETI) Leh concludes at SBI RSETI Leh.
Twenty-one female candidates from various areas of Leh took benefit of the course.
A small but impressive function was organized on the occasion in which certificates of participation were distributed by Tsering Dolma, Incharge Deputy Director, Employment, Leh and Tsering Angmo I/C, General Manager, DIC, interacted with the candidates and guided them for taking maximum advantage of various State Government self employment schemes.
They also assured them that every possible help or guidance will be extended to them for addressing the difficulties faced by them in starting or running their business ventures.
Director, SBI RSETI, Leh, Yangchan Dolma maintained that many training programmes would be conducted by RSETI depending upon local requirements and said SBI RSETI which is aimed at skill building of prospective small entrepreneurs specially for rural youth, is unique as it is intensive short term residential self employment training programme with free food and accommodation designed especially for unemployed youth.
“After completion of course, the institution also helps entrepreneurs for credit linkage with financial institutions of their areas, for their settlement”, Yangchan Dolma added.
