Dr Sabharwal’s Urdu Novel ‘Khoj-2’ released

JAMMU, Nov 8: ‘Khoj-2’, an Urdu Novel written by Dr Chambail Sabharwal, a son of the soil, was released recently at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in Uttar Pradesh.
The Novel was formally released by Dr Rahat Abrar, Director, Urdu Academy, AMU, along with Dr Usshtaq Sadaf and Dr Rafiuddin.
‘Khoj 2’ has been written on insistence of readers of ‘Khoj-1’, which was released by AMU in December 2014. ‘Khoj 2’ analyses reasons for poverty and discrimination of rural Muslims in UP.
Other relevant issues dealt in the Novel are corruption, poor governance and excess of criminalized nexus in UP. The author of the book feels that madrassas are acting as a ‘limiting factor’ for rural childrenin acquiring productive higher education to get required share of Government jobs.
While speaking on the occasion, Dr Abrar, said that in a reformative approach, the author initiates two missions “Sir Syed Talimi Mission” and “Jahad-Haq-Farooshi” for upliftment of poor rural masses in UP with high spirited characters of his novel ‘Khoj-2’.
