JAMMU, Dec 1: Dr Rohit Sharma, Scientist, SKUAST-Jammu, got best research paper award in 5th International Agronomy Congress on “Agri-Innovations to Combat Food and Nutrition Challenges”, organized by Indian Society of Agronomy, New Delhi, in collaboration with PJTSAU, Hyderabad and Indian Council of Agriculture Research New Delhi and held at PJTSAU, Hyderabad, last week.
The conference was organized in hybrid mode and attended by more than 1400 scientists from across the globe. The award was presented to Dr Rohit Sharma by Dr Ashok Daliwal, CEO, NRAA, Government of India along with Dr V Praveen Rao, Vice Chancellor PJTSAU and President ISA, in presence of other eminent scientists.
The research paper, entitled “’Role of various organic sources of nutrients on growth and yield of Bushy Rajmash under high hills (Bhaderwah) of Jammu” was presented by Dr Sharma under the thematic area of “Perspective in Organic Agriculture” and discussed in detail about the organic nutrient management strategies in high hills of Jammu.
