Dr Nirmal replaces State flag with Tricolour in official car

JAMMU, Aug 6: Speaker of J&K Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh replaced the State flag of J&K with Tricolour after the abrogation of Article 370 Parliament not to Reorganization Bill.
Minutes after J&K Reorganization Bill was passed by the parliament, Dr Nirmal Singh, who is also former Deputy Chief Minister of the State, removed the State flag from his official car and put up Indian Tricolour in its place.
“It’s a proud moment for the nationalist people of the State. From today, there will be Ek Vidhaan, Ek Pradhaan and Ek Nishaan,” the senior BJP leader said in a statement.
