JAMMU, June 11: Wahab Cultural Society, Hajan Kashmir today on its golden jubilee celebration released Dr. Sohan Kaul’s latest Drama collection ” Gindan Tamashe”.The review of the book was read by Mushtaque Barq. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Amin Bhat, President Adbi Markaz Kamraz revealed that Dr. Sohan Kaul has contributed a lot to Kashmiri literature and that the present collection is a must read for both theatre lovers and Kashmiri literature students. Dr. Ayash Arif, Vice President Kalidass Theatre in his address while praising Dr. Sohan Kaul’s art of narration advised the young generation to read Dr. Kaul seriously and demanded that his dramas must be incorporated in syllabus.
It also needs a mention that Dr Kaul is a known novelist of Kashmir and has contributed more than a dozen novels besides three collections of plays. His idiom is fresh and is a post modernist writer. His themes are totally different.
