JAMMU, Dec 16: Dr Harish Chander Dutt, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, University of Jammu, has been awarded with Senior Scientist Award in Botany & Environment by Society of Life Sciences (SLS).
The award was presented during the International Conference on Recent Advances in Life Sciences for Betterment of Environment and Human Health-2019 & 8th Annual Session of Society of Life Sciences, organised by Govt H S College, Devi Ahilaya Vishwavidyalaya.
Dr Dutt was awarded for his work on Mathematical Expression for finding the Influence of Human Activities on Ecosystems. He delivered an elaborative talk on his work in the event which was attended by about 600 Scientists, Professors, Research students and members of various NGOs from abroad as well as 14 different States of the country.
