Dr. Avtar Singh gets international recognition for his research on Joint Replacements

JAMMU, Mar 1: Dr. Avtar Singh, Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Babaji S. Thorat, Knee Surgeon Robotic Joint Replacement and Pelvi-acetabular Trauma Specialist presented their Journal of Orthopaedic Case Reports.
The study focused on a 43-year-old male patient suffering from ochronotic arthropathy, a rare condition leading to the black colouration of joints from the inside.
The case presented a unique challenge as the patient showed severe involvement of multiple joints, including bilateral hips, right knee, bilateral elbow joints, and spine.
The surgical team performed three joint replacements in the same patient, marking a significant milestone in orthopaedic surgery.
