JAMMU, Nov 18: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels for the school by winning three prizes in State Level Art Competition organized by National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Limited on the topic ‘Energy Conservation 2014’, at Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium University of Jammu.
Around 37,400 students from 759 schools of the State participated in the competition from class 4th to 6th in Category A and class 7th to 9th in Category B.
In Category A, Soutik Pal (6th A) of DPS won the cash prize of Rs 3500 while in Category B, Shardul Pandoh of 8th K and Sukriti Mattoo of 9th C also won cash prize of Rs 3500.
Additional Director and Principal of the school, Dr D Joseph, felicitated the students for their success and blessed them for their bright future.
M K Ajatshatru Singh, president, RCT, Ritu Singh, pro-vice chairperson and SS Sodhi, Director, DPS Jammu, also congratulated the winners.
