UDHAMPUR, Aug 4: ABVP has strongly condemned the Government decision of including Urdu as a compulsory descriptive paper for the test of Naib Tehsildar’s post.
Addressing a press conference, here today, Arjun Khajuria, ABVP city secretary said that including Urdu is going to have negative repercussions on the J&K job aspirants. “Why Urdu is made mandatory only to Naib Tehsildar and not for Tehsildar and other Revenue officers who qualify KAS?”, he asked and added that such decision of Government would severely hit Jammu candidates.
The ABVP demanded to make changes in the syllabus and eliminating Urdu as a compulsory descriptive paper. “If the Government does not review its decision on Urdu, the ABVP will protest and launch a mass agitation over the issue, “ Mr Khajuria warned.
