JAMMU, June 3: Suresh Kumar Dogra, Chairman OBC Deptt of JKPCC has urged the Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to make interim report submitted by the Chairperson of J&K Socially and Educationally Backward Classes Commission, Justice (Retd) GD Sharma in March this year, to put in public domain.
In a letter written to the LG, Dogra demanded that said Interim report be made public so that the said class be familiar with their proposed status because the said class is already socially, economically as well as politically deprived class, must be justified and their interests must be safeguarded by the expected responsible hands.
Dogra further added that the said interim report must come into the notice of the concerned class and a debate is also required with the social and political stakeholders of the said class between the members of the Commission. He urged the Lt Governor J&K, for the equitable development of all sections and classes of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Congress leader said it was published in all leading news newspapers on March 13, 2021 that Justice (Retd) GD Sharma, Chairperson JKSEBC Commission called on the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhavan and during meeting, the Chairperson discussed a range of issues pertaining to the welfare of Socially & Educationally Backward Classes and submitted the interim report of the Commission.
