JAMMU, July 8: Dogra Front and Shiv Sena held a protest demonstration at Jammu Haat against the administration for creating hurdles in smooth registration of Amarnath yatris.
The demonstration was led by president of the Shiv Sena and the Front Ashok Gupta. He alleged that there was lack of doctors for giving health check up certificates to yatris. He said due to delay in providing of health certificates the yatris face problems in getting registration slips in time.
Later Mr Gupta met Divisional Commissioner Jammu and apprised him of the entire situation. The Divisional Commissioner assured him that prompt action will be taken in making registration hassle free.
Gupta said the Digital India campaign of Prime Minister on such a grand and massive sale is meaningless if it is not made as a part of the Amarnath yatra so that any person sitting in any part of the world can register himself for the yatra.
