Jammu, July 20: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of president, Ashok Gupta took out a protest in the main ‘bazaar’ of Jammu City against delay in the announcement of AIIMS for Jammu.
The protesters said that the aura of revolution for the AIIMS amongst the people of Jammu has been hampered due to the postponement after the meeting between the BJP and AIIMS Coordination Committee.
The people of Jammu will not spare or tolerate any person or Organization who is hampering or making this movement vulnerable.
Mr Gupta expressed his sincere gratitude towards the people of Jammu for standing up firm for the rights of Jammu when so ever called for.
While addressing the gathering, President Dogra Front and Shiv Sena stated that BJP at the time of the election campaigning made a strong statement that the party will fight and safeguard the interests of Jammu but since the formation of the Government the inequality with Jammu has increased substantially like all the daily wagers of PHE in Jammu are still temporary as on the contrary the daily wagers in Kashmir have been made permanent.
“The B.Ed course in Jammu is for 3 years and in Kashmir it is for 2 years,” Mr Gupta said.
Mr Gupta further said that the one and only solution for the people of Jammu is separate statehood so that the people of Jammu who pay the maximum tax and maximum electricity bill does not have to face the impartiality of the unwanted exhorted rules.
The protesters among others included Ashish, Bodh Raj, Tony, Geeta, Krishan, Bantu and Kala Ram.
