DODA, Oct 11: The ongoing indefinite hunger strike of All India Students Federation (AISF) Distt Council Doda today enters 5th day at Old Bus Stand Doda City to start PG classes in Doda Campus of University of Jammu and Commerce stream in GDC Doda.
The condition of two students who are admitted in Distt Hospital Doda is said to be serious.
This is the first time when general public came to roads and joined agitation against the Government. The agitation took a harsh turn when another student of the Federation Sadam Hussain become serious and the Doda police forcibly shifted him to Distt Hospital Doda.
Today shopkeepers of the Doda also pulled their shuters down and supported these students against this genuine cause and observes complete bandh.
Early in the morning, a rally started from Govt Degree College Doda and was joined by ITI College Doda, Girls Higher Secondary School Doda, Boys Higher Secondary School Doda and the other schools and culminated at the venue where the students are sitting on hunger strike.
A number of students are sitting on Dharna day & night at old bus stand in support of demand.
