Doda children talk of their experience on return from Bharat Darshan

JAMMU, Jan 15: In a program organized at Headquarters 76 Bn CRPF, the children returning from Bharat Darshan shared their experience of the tour, talked about how they realized the beauty of nation, the goodness of its people, its culture and its sky touching buildings which they had read about only in their books and heard in stories.
Under Civic Action Program (CAP) by CRPF, these 15 students from remote areas of Doda district of J&K were sent to Ahmedabad and Delhi for ‘Bharat Darshan’. During this educational tour, children were taken to Chhatarpur Mandir, Qutab Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Parliament House, National Museum, Red Fort in Delhi and Akshardham Temple, Gandhi Ashram, Iskon Temple and Vintage Auto world museum in Gujrat. The students were familiarized with the art, culture, lifestyle, etc of Delhi and Gujrat besides entertaining them.
Chief guest of the program, AV Chauhan, IG CRPF Jammu Sector, during his address to the children, said that whatever they have seen and learnt during the tour would help in shaping their future and personality development. While highlighting the importance of this event, organized under Civic Action Program, he wished the children for their bright future.
Neeraj Kumar Pandey, Commandant 76 Bn CRPF, briefed about Bharat Darshan and other programs organized by CRPF regularly under Civic Action Program.
While relishing the memories the tour, Master Arihant Rakwal, Akshay Kumar and Kalimullah Mintoo urged the CRPF to keep organizing such programs in the future also. During the program, S L C Khup, DIG CRPF Hiranagar Range; PC Jha, DIG CRPF Ops Jammu North; Ram Kumar, Commandant 38 Bn CRPF; A Padma Kumar, Commandant 33 Bn CRPF; Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Bn CRPF; B P Yadav, Commandant 84 Bn CRPF; K D Joshi Commandant, 160 Bn CRPF; Satyavir Singh, Dy Commandant; Pradeep Singh Rathi, Asstt Commandant and other officers and personnel of the Force were also present. K L Dhiman, Second-in-Command 76 Bn CRPF, presented vote of thanks.
