JAMMU, May 23: A patient in the Emergency Ward of the Government Medical College and Hospital today died due to the negligence of Registrar Medicines Dr Sushil Pandita.
Reports said that a patient namely Bodhi Singh, son of Jalla Singh of Akhnoor died in the Emergency Ward of the hospital due to the negligence of Dr Pandita.
Taking serious note of the incident, Health Minister, Ch Lal Singh immediately ordered suspension of the erring doctor with the direction to the Principal, Dr Ghanshyam Dev Gupta to conduct enquiry and submit report within two days.
