Srinagar, Mar 4: A meeting of District level Screening Cum Co-ordination Committee was today held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal.
An official spokesman said Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Revenue and officers form Police and Army also attended the meeting.
He said 24 relief cases and various cases pertaining to the cash compensation/appointment were paced before the committee during the meeting. The reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases. “All the necessary guidelines as per SRO 43 were kept in view while deciding the cases,” he said.
Meanwhile, directions were issued for constituting committees under Sub-Divisional Magistrates for verification in various missing cases, said the spokesman. He said four cases pertaining to the damage of property in militancy related incidents were also taken up during which reports from the Tehsildars and concerned engineers were thoroughly discussed.
“Re-verification and dependent certificates in some cases were also sought during the meeting, “the official spokesman added.
