SRINAGAR, Sept 17: Government has constituted District Level Committees (DLCs) for identification of the unauthorized private college and other educational institutions functioning in the State.
These committees will identify and furnish information in respect of the district falling within their territorial jurisdiction every year by April 15 to Director Colleges, who will compile and prepare the consolidated list by the end of April of the same year.
Government has further ordered that in respect of year 2011-12 the committees will identify the unauthorized private colleges, educational institutions and furnish report to Director Colleges latest by October 15 2012 to facilitate further action under rules.
