JAMMU, Sept 3: The State Government has accorded sanction for constitution of District Level Committees to finalize assistance under the `Central Scheme for Assistance to Civilian victims of terrorism, communal and Naxal violence.
These committees will identify the beneficiaries and verify their eligibility for assistance in accordance with the guidelines laid down in the scheme.
Each district level committee will be headed by the concerned Deputy Commissioner and shall comprise District SP, District Social Welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Planning Officer and Child Development Project Officer as the members.
