UDHAMPUR May 6: A District level painting competition was organised today at Happy Model Higher Secondary School, Udhampur under the directions of State Institute of Education Jammu.
The topics of the competition were Use of Modern Technology in revolutionizing on life, Conservation of natural resources and Significance of Education among Children .
In the competition a total of 29 schools from the district participated . Government Girls High School Udhampur clinched the first position. Government Higher Secondary School, Chanunta, Government High School Battal Ballian, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Udhampur and Government High School, Garh Dhamma were among the other position holders of the competition.
The whole programme was supervised by J M Tharmatt incharge Principal of DIET Kud (Udhampur). Among others V K Koul HoD DIET Kud and Joginder Gupta Senior Lecturer DIET Kud were present on the occasion.
