JAMMU, Aug 26: A Legal Literacy Awareness programme was organized at District Jail especially for the inmates under the chairmanship of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Jammu.
All the jail inmates participated in the class. The committee highlighted the importance/benefits of Legal Aid Services to the inmates. Hema Choudhary Parihar and Zeeshan Ahmed, Retainer Lawyers were two members of the Legal Services Committee.
Superintendent Jail Harish Kotwal was also present on the occasion. He called upon the committee to organize such programmes in future also.
