UDHAMPUR, Aug 26: Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) Chenani defeated HSS Ghordi by 14 points in kabaddi boys in the ongoing District Level Inter-School tournament in the disciplines of volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho nad wrestling, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here.
382 boys drawn from 24 Schools of the District participated in this tournament, which is being held under the overall supervision of Sukhdev Singh, DYSSO, Udhampur.
In other kabaddi matches, HSS Udhampur defeated HSS Barolla, HSS Krimchi got better of HSS Barta and HSS Garhi outplayed HSS Ramnagar.
In kho-kho Under-19 boys, HSS Garhi outclassed HSS Ramnagar, HSS Barolla defeated HSS Udhampur and HSS Garhi got better of Common Public School Udhampur, while in volleyball Under-19 boys, HSS Tikri prevailed over HSS Barolla, HSS Ramnagar trounced HSS NITL Udhampur, APS HSS outplayed HSS Ramnagar, HSS Chenani prevailed over HSS Khoon, HSS Udhampur defeated HSS Ghordi and HSS Garhi defeated BBSV Peeth.
