JAMMU, Jan 4: In view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions, Directorate of School Education Jammu has ordered extension of the ongoing Winter vacations in Summer Zone schools of Jammu division up to January 7, 2023.
An order in this regard was issued late this evening by Director School Education Jammu, Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma.
As per the order, the ongoing winter vacations of Government as well as private recognized schools functioning in Summer Zone of Jammu division since December 26, 2022 to January 4, 2023 have been extended up to January 7, 2023 in view of prevailing inclement weather conditions in the Jammu division.
Any default on part of the Head of the Schools/Teaching staff in observance of the schedule shall attract action under rules, further read the order.
