JAMMU, Mar 27: District Tuberculosis Centre Jammu organised an awareness programme at the Chest Diseases Hospital Jammu where Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Sameer Mattoo, who was the chief guest, awarded dedicated workers.
On the occasion, the Best DMC in Jammu District Award was presented to CD Hospital Jammu while the Best Lab Technician Award was given to Kartik Sudan, LT CD Hospital. Dr Sameer Mattoo presented the awards and appreciated dedication of the workers working in RNTCP programme.
Dr S S Sambyal, Senior Medical Officer C D Hospital Jammu, presented a formal welcome address while District TB Officer Jammu, Dr Aruna Verma presented overall performance and detailed report of the activities to raise awareness and prevention of TB disease in District Jammu.
The prominent among those, present on the occasion, included CMO Jammu, Dr Danish Ayub Khan; State Epidemiologist, Dr Anita Kaul; Dr Sanjeev Puri, A D Scheme; Dr Manoj Chalotra, MS CD Hospital Jammu and Dr Rahul Gupta, HoD CD Hospital.
