JAMMU, Apr 24: A grand farewell function was organized by the senior officers of the J&K Legal Gazetted Service in honour of Director Litigation, Jammu, Ashok Kumar Ambardar, who is retiring on superannuation on April 30, 2013 after rendering 28 years unblemished service in the department.
The officers who participated in the farewell function included Secretary, J&K Legislative Council, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Special Secretary Law Department, Ghulam Qadir Bhat, Additional Secretary, Law Public Service Commission, Dilshad Ahmad Baba, Additional Secretary Law Home Department, Mohammad Iqbal Mir, MD J&K Agro Industries Corporation Limited, Abdul MajidBhat and senior Law Officer, Rohni Kiran.
Retired officers Hakeem Javid and Purshotam Kumar Sharma also participated in the farewell function of the officer.
All the officers and participants appreciated the humility, sincerity and dedication of the officer in the performance of his duties and wished him a prosperous healthy and happy life.
