POONCH, Jan 31: J&K Grameen Bank organized D-FLAP (Going Digital) at villages Soyan (unbanked area), Mankote and Kasbalari (unbanked areas) under the branch offices Dhargloon, Mankote and Mendhar in district Poonch.
Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department, under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized Digital-Financial Literacy Awareness Programme in village Soyan (unbanked area), Mankote and Kasbalari (unbanked area) under the branch offices Dhargloon, Mankote and Mendhar.
Regional Manager Rajouri/ Poonch, RK Narang, was the chief guest on the occasion, who highlighted about developments in banking sector and latest schemes. His main emphasis was on cashless economy and he guided them to make transactions without having cash in hand. He enlightened people about new technologies available in the bank such as multiple uses of Bank cheques, use of PoS machine, Rupay debit card, KCC Rupay debit card, net banking, mobile banking services, IMPS, Aadhaar based transactions etc.
Vipan Gupta, senior Manager, MF&FI Department, J&K Grameen Bank, highlighted that with our thrust on enabling an impactful mindset changes towards cash to cashless economy, we are nurturing environment of transformation across our clientele, structures, systems, processes and skills in the bank as a whole.
Jagdish Raj Choudhary, branch head Dhargloon detailed people regarding social security schemes APY, PMJJBY & PMSBY. JLGs,Trade Loan, KCC and car loans of Rs 20 lakh were also disbursed during the programme. Representatives of various Line Departments also attended the programme.
Branch Head Mankote, Mohit Puri and Branch Head Mendhar, Ranjit Uttama stressed upon the social security schemes.
