Dialogue with Pakistan

Sir,
As per the news reports Dr Farooq Abdullah is of opinion that peace in the valley is impossible until Delhi and Islamabad engage in talks. He further says that both the countries are nuclear hence  the war is out of question. It is true that the wars did not yield any positive results vis a vis Kashmir imbroglio. The wars were followed by pacts. But if wars did not yield the results the pacts/ deliberations/ dialogues also failed in solving the Kashmir problem. By the way, Suppose India reinitiates the dialogue and Pakistan parrots Kashmir again, then what will be the use of that dialogue. Farooq also forgets unfortunate Kargil war when Vajpayee took the lead in bringing the peace. As regards nuclear powers, the duty of the nation is to safeguard its territory. In the garb of being nuclear, how long Pakistan will go on bleeding India. Dr. Farooq also forgets that there is no one power centre in Pakistan and Pakistan is the epicentre of terrorism. Can one trust proved untrustworthy ? Then whom to talk with Dr. Farooq Abdullah?
Yours etc…..
