JAMMU, Nov 19: A team of office bearers of Jammu & Kashmir Dharmarth Trust, led by its Secretary, Shashi Khajuria, today visited Purmandal to review necessary arrangements regarding Purmandal Mela, which is going to start on November 21.
The grand religious function is held for two days in which thousands of devotees from Jammu-Kashmir and other States participate. The devotees take a holy dip in Devak river and seek blessings. This religious function is held to celebrate the birthday of Mata Parvati. Special Puja is organized during these days.
Shashi Khajuria and his team took stock of all the arrangements being made for the devotees including langer and accommodation besides other basic facilities.
