Dharmarth Trust holds capacity building workshop

JAMMU, Sept 29: The J&K Dharmarth Trust took a significant step towards enhancing the work culture conducted a comprehensive workshop on capacity building.
The workshop was headed by Ashok Kumar Sharma (IPS Retd), Secretary of the Trust. He emphasized the paramount importance of cleanliness within temple premises. He urged to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, strictly prohibiting the use of toxic substances, smoking, and drugs within all the temples falling under the Trust’s jurisdiction. Furthermore, he stressed the need to prevent encroachments and illegal occupations on Trust property.
The Secretary pointed out that the Pitru Paksha (Sharad) period has commencement today, during which Hindus pay homage to their ancestors through food offerings, necessitates utmost care. He reminded Pujaris to differentiate between offerings made for ancestors and those intended for the deities, ensuring no confusion. He clearly said that the food donated by people during the same period will not offer to God.
Ashok Kumar Sharma also disclosed the initiation of the “Best Employee of the Year Award” along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000. The Secretary reiterated the importance of adhering to the guidelines set forth in the Ain-e-Dharmarth Trust with unwavering commitment and dedication.
