JAMMU, Sept 29: One person died while another suffered injuries in separate road accidents in Jammu District today.
One Mohammad Shafi (38) son of Alam Din of Marh was injured in a road accident at Marh.
He was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu where he was pronounced as dead on arrival.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the Hospital for conducting the post-mortem while as a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concerned police station.
Meanwhile, one Vansh (17) son of Som Bahadur of Nepal at present Gangyal suffered injuries after the motorcycle he was riding on collided with another motorcycle at RS Pura area.
He was immediately rushed to GMC Jammu where he is undergoing treatment.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and further investigation taken up.
