JAMMU, Mar 9: The management and staff members of J&K Dharmarth Trust celebrated the 88th birthday of Dr Karan Singh, MP, a renowned statesman, an eminent educationist, a competent environmentalist and Chairman Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, with great enthusiasm.
In this connection, a function was organized by J&K Dharmarth Trust in which Pooja followed by Hawan was performed by the priests of Shree Raghunath Ji Temple. Former Sadr-e-Riyasat Dr Karan Singh was present on the occasion. He participated in Pooja and offered Aahuti in the Hawan. Later Prasad was distributed among the participants.
Dr Karan Singh also went around the temple complex and took stock of the arrangements and passed necessary directions to the management. He also inaugurated Bhojanalaya which has been constructed recently for the devotees.
Secretary Dharmarth Trust, Dr Sat Pal, Administrator Raghunath Ji temple, Darshan Sharma and other staff members were also present on the occasion.
