DGP sanctions special welfare relief

JAMMU, Nov 24: Continuing with its endeavour to provide financial assistance to the families of martyred and deceased police personnel and SPOs, the Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh has sanctioned Rs 49 lakh special welfare relief for NoKs of deceased police personnel.
Rupees 22 lakh special welfare relief has been sanctioned in favour of dependents and legal heirs of deceased SgCt Tanveer Ahmad who expired due to illness.
The DGP has sanctioned Rs 5 lakh each in favour of dependents and legal heirs of deceased SPOs Imtiyaz Ahmad, Pritam Chand, Daya Krishan and Mudasir Fayaz. Rupees six lakh has been sanctioned in favour of NoK of deceased SPO Rattan Chand. These personnel have passed away during the course of their engagement with the department.
