DGP sanctions Rs 71 lakh for retiring officials

JAMMU, Nov 30: As a token of appreciation for their services to the Department, Director General of Police (DGP) J&K Dilbag Singh has sanctioned retirement gift of Rs 71 lakh in favour of 71 personnel of J&K Police who retired today after attaining superannuation or took voluntary retirement.
Rupees one lakh each was sanctioned vide PHQ J&K order number 3991 of 2022 in favour of three gazetted officers, 53 non gazetted officers, 11 lower subordinates and four followers. These officers/officials belong to different units and wings of the department.
Retirement gift of rupees one lakh each is sanctioned to police personnel from the Contributory Police Welfare Fund at the time of his/her retirement. The gift serves as a token of appreciation for his/her services rendered to the department.
