JAMMU, Oct 15: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta took out a massive anti-Gupkar rally here today.
The party workers raised slogans and set afire the photos of Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her remarks after her release.
“Articles 370 and 35A will never be restored. It murdered the human rights of communities like Gujjar-Bakarwals, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Paharis, Women, Valmikis and the West Pakistan Refugees”, said Ashok Gupta.
He added that people of Jammu and Kashmir want peace, brotherhood and development. “Whosoever tries to conspire and pursue Gupkar agenda will not be spared”, he said, adding that Articles 370 and 35-A meted out gross discrimination to West Pak Refugees, Gujjars-Bakerwals, SCs/STs, Valmikis, women and nationalist people in J&K.
“Articles 370 and 35-A gave birth to separatism and terrorism. It will never come back. It is a history now. These conspirators are again trying to bleed Kashmir, but we won’t allow them to succeed in their sinister designs. We will not allow their Gupkar agenda and won’t let them vitiate the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir again”, Gupta added.
He said that Gupkar is a mere stunt to safeguard there finished politics which thrives only on Article 370 and Article 35A.
Gupta slammed J&K NC President Farooq Abdullah for seeking China’s aid for the restoration of Articles 370 and 35A in the erstwhile State and called it ‘irresponsible’.
