Development of Chenab valley affected due to Govt’s indifferent attitude: Vikar Rasool

RAMBAN, May 8 : Former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani today concluded his two days extensive tour of backward and hilly areas of his Assembly segment.
During his detailed tour, MLA visited Senabati, Gujarada, Chevli and Paristan areas and interacted with local public there.
While addressing series of gatherings, MLA lashes out on PDP-BJP Government for introducing NFSA, the anti poor ration scheme in the State. He added that since from the first day of this unholy alliance, people living in the hilly and mountainous terrain are facing hardships in respect of ration shortage, errors in implementation of NFSA, delay in clearance of laibalities in MGNREGA, IAY and other center funded sehemes and other sensitive issues.
Wani further said that the development of Chenab valley in general and Banihal constituency in particular is badly affected due to careless and indifferent attitude of present Government.
He also take review of all ongoing work projects in the area and urged upon the officers accompanying him to speed up the work for the early completion of ongoing developmental projects of the area.
MLA Banihal earlier visit recently sanctioned Senabati paristan road under NABARD and urged upon the Revenue and R&B Department to ensure early starting of work on this prestigious road. He directed Naib Tehsildar Senabati to prepare revenue papers for providing compensation to the affected people falling under the alignment of this road.
MLA Banihal also visited the proposed site for PHC building Senabati and High School Paristan.
On public demand, Vikar Rasool Wani sanctioned 8 foot bridges under convergence and two toilet complex for Gujrada and Chanka and school ground for High School Paristan under his MLA funds .
Senior congress leaders Farooq Katoch, Ishaq Khanday, Fakir Chand, Sarpanch Bashir Kumar and various others accompanied the MLA.
