Develop Ramnagar as ‘Smart Town’: Pathania to MC members

UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: Spokesperson Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ranbir Singh Pathania, while interacting with Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and other members of Municipal Committee, Ramnagar, called upon them to work extensively for realization of the well-cherished goal of making Ramnagar a ‘Smart Town’.
He asked them to Smart Town Ramnagar should be well equipped with modern amenities including regular water and electricity supply, proper sanitation, planned lanes and drains, sewerage treatment and solid waste management plant, children parks and playground in all wards, open gymnasium, indoor and outdoor sports complex, renovation and improvement of cremation grounds.
He expressed his satisfaction that within one year of election of BJP in Ramnagar municipality, works worth two and a half crores have been executed and projects for another 10 crores are in the offing.
He further shared his vision for development of Ramnagar and enlisted various developmental plans and projects which have either been conceived or in pipeline. He said that a modern Housing Colony, a multi storied bus stand at Ramnagar, Multipurpose Stadium with outdoor block, Open Gymnasium are few important projects work on which is underway.
He said that Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar will be upgraded with a new complex coming up, well equipped with modern diagnostic facilities comprising digital X-ray, modern ultrasound and laboratory.
Making a scathing attack on a few pessimistic and negative political elements who stand exposed, Pathania said that those leaders who have woken up from deep slumber and are now trumpeting about the cause of Jammu must bear in mind that their ‘stinking past’ is all known to the public who have rejected them in last Assembly elections.
