Deputation led by Chairman MC Vijaypur meets SDM

SAMBA, July 3: Chairman Municipal Committee, Vijaypur, Deepak Pagotra led a deputation to SDM Vijaypur and handed over memorandum of demands pertaining unnecessary curtailment of power , scarcity of drinking water and construction of Bus Stand in Vijaypur town .
The delegation apprised SDM that inhabitants of Vijaypur town are facing huge curtailment of power which is increasing their sufferings especially of business fraternity many fold.
The curtailment is the main reason behind scarcity of water as most of the inhabitants are depended upon water by PHE which says non availability of power is reason behind non availability of scheduled supply of water to inhabitants of Vijaypur.
Deepak demanded construction of Bus Stand as well as proper parking areas at Vijaypur town as the traffic is rapidly increasing amidst construction of AIIMS. Absence of proper parking system within town is the main reason behind sufferings.
The other members of deputation were Rahul Vaid , Sachin Balgotra and prominent citizens of Vijaypur town.
