JAMMU, Feb 5: The Jammu branch of Indian Dental Association (IDA) today organized a dental camp in the conference hall of Directorate of Health Services (DHS) Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Deputy Director Schemes, Dr Tasneema Banoo in the presence of AD schemes/HEB, CMO Jammu Dr J P Singh and officers/officials of DHS/CMO office. Later, Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Renu Sharma also joined the camp.
Dr Sahul Lerra (president, IDA Jammu), Dr Nidhi (branch secretary), Dr Namita (CDH convener), Dr Rolly Sharma (RMNCHA consultant, district Jammu) and members of IDA were present in the camp.
A power point presentation was given by Dr Nidhi regarding awareness of oral hygiene, prevention and treatment of oral diseases. The team of IDA also conducted examination of doctors and staff.
Dr Shahid, Nodal officer Leprosy, gave a brief introduction regarding the programme.
