DODA, Feb 5: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mumtaz Ahmed flagged off Bharat Darshan Tour of 50 students of different areas of district Doda in a first group. The tour has been organized by District Police Doda under Civic Action Program (CAP).
While interacting with the students in a function held at DPL Doda, SSP Doda wished them a happy and safe journey and advised them to avail the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting different States of  the country to see historical places and building. He advised the students to move out, meet people and see how much beautiful and diverse the culture of our country is.
He said that by these Bharat Darshan tours students can develop knowledge of the world at large can thus become a responsible citizen.
SSP Doda further said that the world is vast and our life span is short but whenever we get any chance to interact with the people from outside or visit outside we should use this opportunity to get information about the people, places and cultures. These interactions help in fostering brotherhood and harmony as the basic thinking and nature of all the people throughout the world is same.
He further advised the students to meet people during this tour with open heart and spread message of brotherhood and communal harmony.
Among others SP Operations Doda Ravinder Paul Singh, ASP Headquarters Doda Master Popsy, DySP Headquarters Doda Manoj Kumar, DySP DAR DPL Doda Mansoor Ayaz, RI/LO DPL Doda and parents of the touring students were present on the occasion.
