JAMMU, May 13: Sardar H S Memorial Hospital (Dr Dara Singh Nursing Home), 32-Rehari Chungi, organized a dental awareness camp at Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Patoli, by Dr Rohit Sharma (Dental Surgeon and Implantologist) under the supervision of Dr Simran Preet Singh (MD and Administrator of S HS Memorial Hospital).
Dr Rohit Sharma advised the students about benefit of maintaining oral hygiene by proper brushing and other techniques available in field of dentistry. He also gave live demonstration to get rid of cause of majority of oral problems. He focussed on maintaining nutritional diet instead of eating fast foods.
About 250 students and staff of the school were examined. Dr Simran Preet Singh also motivated the students by providing free tooth brushes, pastes and mouthwashes. He also mentioned that S HS Memorial Hospital is organising such camps for the welfare of the society. Principal of the school was the guest of honour on the occasion who appreciated the efforts of the SHS Hospital for such camp.
Dr Simran Preet also informed that SHS Hospital provides discount on investigations, X-Ray (Digital) and surgeries to economically weaker sections of the society. He spoke about other specialities available in S HS Hospital like orthopaedics, cardiology, gynaecology, general surgery, urology, ENT, paediatrics etc.
