JAMMU, May 19: A dental and diet care camp was organized at Home for Homeless, Boria Basti, Kalka Colony, here today.
The camp was organized by Dietitian Mitali Gupta, the owner of Slim Line (a clinic of dietetics and clinical nutrition) and Ivory Harbour Dental Clinic for the inmates of the Shelter Home while Prof Vijay Laxmi (Ex- Principal, Government College for Women, Parade) was the chief guest on the occasion.
During the camp, Dr Umang Jamwal and Dr Kunal Vuthoo did the dental checkup of inmates of the Shelter Home. Medical aid was also given to inmates, besides distributing medicines.
On the occasion, the team Slim Line headed by Dietitian Mitali Gupta and Sonam Gupta distributed six coolers and healthy eatables to inmates. They also distributed dental care kits among inmates of the Home.
Dr Mitali and Sonam promised the inmates that they will get a television installed in the Home shortly.
