JAMMU, Aug 9: A medical camp was organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Delta Force, today at Gei.
Over 300 locals from nearby villages attended the medical camp including Basrat Ali, Bhata Sarpanch, Pitambar Singh, Sarpanch Gei alongwith locals from nearby villages.
The camp was organized to provide medical facilities to the locals of Gei and their nearby villages.
The medical team comprised of Regimental Medical Officer, Eye Specialist Officer, Dental Specialist Officer and Nursing Assistant.
Rashtriya Rifles Battalion based at Doda provided all essential administrative support to organise the medical camp and distributed medicines.
The event drew overwhelming response from the locals and they appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army for improving the medical facilities in the district.
